About us
We are a non-profit cooperative that has been promoting citizen energy in Croatia for over 10 years. We believe that citizens should be at the heart of the energy system and participate equally in the management of local energy resources. We have successfully implemented the first citizen energy projects in Croatia and we tirelessly work to make citizen energy thrive across the country. We are a member of REScoop, an association of 2,250 energy communities in Europe.
Our mission is to help citizens develop, invest in and use renewable energy sources.
Solar energy
Among renewable energy sources, we are most focused on
solar energy. Solar energy is viable throughout Croatia, and we believe that, as a local resource, it should be utilized and managed by our citizens and local communities.
In 2024, the Croatian Professional Association for Solar Energy awarded us recognition for our significant contribution to promoting the use of solar energy in Croatia.

Cooperative
As a cooperative, we are owned by our members and employees and that we operate according to international cooperative principles, in a democratic and solidary manner. Through our activities, we encourage the development of social entrepreneurship in the field of energy, we influence social equality and promote environmental conservation.

As a non-profit cooperative, we do not distribute profits from the services we provide to our members but reinvest them into new projects and activities that advance citizen energy in Croatia.
Our team
Our team consists of experts, activists and practitioners with many years of experience, promising young people who are well on their way to becoming experts, and a few furry four-legged friends without whom our daily office life would be unimaginable. Over 50% of our employees are also members of the cooperative, while other members participate in its work as external associates.
